We believe that our great success comes with a responsibility to support the communities that we live and work in.
We established the NEJ and Mascolo Family Foundation to support underprivileged children in our surrounding areas. The mission of the foundation is to help those children reach their greatest potential with grass roots programs that focus on education, personal growth and athletics. Our motto is Kids Inspired to Succeed® or KI2S®.
NEJ and other contributors have provided assistance to local elementary schools to support the enrichment of students in many aspects of their lives. Fundraising efforts for the foundation include an annual household supply drive and toy drive, where donations go to a local family services organization.
Most recently, the NEJ and Mascolo Family Foundation renovated a gymnasium, equipped a classroom with state of the art learning tools and provided a new playscape and renovation of the playground at the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Waterbury, CT.
